How we calculate pay

< Go Back

Use the following as a reference if you forgot how your pay is calculated. It may seem a bit confusing at first so please look over the following:

How we compute YOUR job paycheck based on sales volume:

  • You will be paid either 42%, 44%, or 48% (depending on how many Budgeted Hours you cleaned)
  • The Budgeted Hours are the hours assigned to the job (you might spend less, or more time than the assigned hours, based on your speed and efficiency) and determine your percentage pay for the week, based on how many Budgeted Hours you were assigned/completed. Budgeted hours are calculated based on the average cleaning time for a particular size home and service. The history of the home is taken into account and the time is adjusted for more accuracy.
  • Most people can finish each job in less time than estimated, if they are efficient and follow the “Speed Cleaning” system. Plus, many of our customer’s tip, so that is additional income to you which usually exceeds more than your gas expense each week.

SAMPLE PAY:

Example 1:

  • Sample schedule 1st week after training, lighter days at first
  • If you work a really short day all week, you might only clean 1 job each day.
  • An average job is approximately $150 and has 3 assigned Budgeted Hours
  • Therefore, you would drive to 1 job location, spend about 3 hours and go home for the day
  • If you did that for five days (Monday thru Friday) you would have worked a total of 15 Budgeted Hours which is less than part-time

In this example you would have generated around $750 in sales revenue for a 15 hour week

  • At 42%, our lowest percentage pay level, your pay would still be: $315
  • $315 that first week is not bad for less than half a day’s work, but the goal is to get to full time and TOP PAY!

Example 2:

  • Depending on how you did during week one (quality, speed, dependability) we will give you more jobs, more work
  • If you worked a longer day for a full week, maybe 2 jobs a day averaging 6 Budgeted Hours per day, you have worked 30 Budgeted Hours in a week, bumping you up to the next percentage level for the whole week!

In this example, you would have generated around $1500 in sales for a 30 hour week

  • At 44%, our 2nd level percentage pay, your pay would be: $660 for just a 30-hour workweek
  • So $660 for a 30-hour workweek, but the goal is to get to full-time and TOP PAY!

Example 3:

  • Depending on how you did during week 2 (quality, speed, dependability) we can give you more jobs, more work
  • If you worked a longer day for a full week, maybe 2 larger jobs a day averaging 7 Budgeted Hours per day, you have worked 35 Budgeted Hours in a week, bumping you up to the next percentage level for the whole week!

In this example you would have generated around $1750 for a 35 hour week

  • At 48%, our 3rd level percentage pay, your pay would be: $840 for just a 35-hour work week! Then add in tips and bonuses!

Example 4:

  • Depending on how you did during week 3 and 4 (quality, speed, dependability) we can give you more jobs, more work
  • If you worked a longer day for a full week, maybe 2 to 3 larger jobs a day averaging 8 Budgeted Hours per day, you have worked 40 Budgeted Hours in a week, bumping you up to the next percentage level for the whole week!

In this example you would have generated around $2000 for a 40 hour week

  • At 48%, our 3rd level percentage pay, your pay would be: $960 for a 40-hour workweek
  • If you had added a couple of extra job hours by doing larger homes your pay could be as much as $960! Then add in tips, online review bonuses, and referral bonuses!

REMEMBER:

  • You are paid a percentage of each job
  •  The MORE you work, the higher the percentage pay you make for the week!
  • Give yourself a raise by working complaint-free and efficiently so you will be assigned more jobs and hours!
  • The more job hours assigned the higher percentage pay you make for the week if completed
  • The fewer hours you work, the lower percentage pay you’ll make for the week.
